A follow-up to my previous post about a Miami reporter who used an iPhone to tape an entire news story.
In a recent Al’s Morning Meeting memo, Al Tompkins writes about a St. Petersburg Times photojournalist who shot a weekend magazine feature. Melissa Lyttle took the photos, noting on the Times’ photo blog that “the best camera is the one you have with you.”
As many folks already know — and journalists are finally realizing, one of the benefits of an iPhone or similar device is that you can easily upload photos to social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, or your own blog, for example.
I expect this will become more and more popular among media pros as the hi-tech tools make it easier to deliver information that your audiences have come to expect in this digital age.
Check out here iPhone photo blog; some great images.
